In 2024, I worked on the design of a custom Digital Twin platform for a company in the manufacturing sector. The goal was to modernize plant supervision and facilitate real-time problem reporting and resolution through a highly visual and interactive system.
My Role
I was responsible for requirements gathering, UI/UX design in Figma, and closely collaborated with the development team throughout the implementation phase to ensure the solution met both user and technical expectations.
The Challenge
The company needed an intuitive, scalable solution to:
Gain a full 3D overview of the production plant
Identify and respond to machine blockages in real time
Enable quick and versatile communication between operators and supervisors
Ensure secure, role-based access to platform features
The Solution
I designed a platform that transforms the way plant data is visualized and managed. Key features included:
3D visualization of the plant and machinery, providing a real-time, interactive map of operations
Automated blockage detection and alerts to minimize downtime
Multi-channel failure reporting, including voice, text, and multiple-choice inputs
Integrated live chat between operators and supervisors for immediate coordination
Role-based user access, tailoring the interface to each user’s responsibilities
Live updates on operational status to support fast, informed decision-making
The result is a highly functional interface that supports better oversight, faster reactions, and more efficient communication within complex industrial environments.
